Hi,
I believe most of us have used postSpanwiseAverage utility to spatially average the time averaged fields in the homogeneous directions. I am working with a case involving heat transfer and I need spanwise averaged values of temperature over a boundary patch. The postSpanwiseAverage utility works with the internal fields only and omits the boundary patch values. I was wondering if anyone has modified that utility to include the boundary patch values too or if there is something else which can be used to spatially average data on a boundary patch. Right now, I am using matlab to achieve my objective but for large sets of data, it is not robust and very inefficient. |
