Flat Plate

Hello, Foamers,

I've been trying to plot the "Law of the wall" on a flat plate for quite some time now. However, I have problems to get the desired values in the turbulent area. I use both a BlockMesh and a mesh from StarCCM to get the result with OpenFOAM (Figure 1.).

StarrCCM: 170042 Cells
BlockMesh V1: 7200 Cells
BlockMesh V2: 220000 Cells

But in all cases I get the same wrong result (Fig2.). I calculated all calculations compressible as well as incompressible.
As reference simulation I use the correct result of StarCCM+ and the literature.
Now the question is whether it may be due to the boundary conditions (Fig3).
I determine the velocity curves and the wall shear stresses with ParaFOAM.
My analytical calculation of the wall shear stress corresponds to the result of ParaFOAM (Fig4).

I would be very grateful if you could take a quick look at my case.

Best regards

Kevin
