Hello,
I've attached an image below and unfortunately do not know how to create it in OpenFOAM (...distribute velocity profiles, TKS profile... throughout the geometry), could anyone share their experiences? ** OpenFOAM 5.0; |

I quickly had a go at doing something like this. This is what I came up with:
Use the calculator tool to extract a vector that you are interested. For example, if you want the axial direction velocity (x direction) type the following in the calculator: (U_X*iHat)+(0*jHat)+(0*kHat) Make a slice where you want to view your contour line Use the filter "wrap by vector" on that slice and chose the vector you created in the calculator. It might be necessary to play with the scale edit: If you are searching for filters, press cntrl+space and type the filter name. Also attached is my trial run to see if it works. |
