Dear all Foamers,

I finish a simulation about 3D single bubble rising in water using InterFoam solver. Now i want to compute the Sphericity parameter of bubble. Please give me some idea how to do it .

Thank you so much

Do you mean to say radius of curvature of the bubble?

Dear sir, I really appreciated your reply sir.
I managed to get the diameter of bubble when changing the shape at three cordinates x,y,z. The problem is i dont know how to compute the sphericity of the bubble or degree of roundness of a 3D bubble. I do some google search and it can be calculated by: w = area of volume-equivalen sphere / area of bubble.

Below is the sphericity of bubble i want to compute sir

Dear John,

I am being in stuck with computation of rising bubble in 2D, it maybe is similar with your 3D case. Could you please share with me your method to compute the circularity of bubble.

I thank you very much
