calf.Z Senior Member Jianrui Zeng Join Date: May 2018 Location: China Posts: 157 Rep Power: 7	I am doing direct numerical simulation with the compressible solver. In post-processing, the variables should be processed in Favred average. I am wondering if the variables such as velocity have already been favre-averaged forms since I am using the compressible solver? Or should I using averaged<rhou>/averaged<rho> to calculate favred velocity? And how can I get turbulent kinetic energy (TKE) and reynolds shear stress(RSS) when doing DNS post-processing? Do rhoUprime2MeanXX represent TKE and rhoUprime2MeanXY represent RSS? I am really confused about it. Thank you for the kind help.
