atul1018 is on a distinguished road
I am using Openfoam-v-1912. I simulated particle-laden backward facing step (BFS) case using DPMFoam. Now I want to plot particle velocity profile at a particular location at specified time, which is not as easy as I thought (similar to attached file). Particle-velocity data are not available in parafoam in required format and can't be plotted on Eulerian grid. When I do the similar exercise to plot fluid velocity profile using "plot over line" filter, everything works fine. As per my understanding the particles are tracked in Lagrangian frame of reference and the particle data are assigned to each particle not to computational cell thus cant be plotted over a line.

for example I want to plot particle velocity over a line AB having co-ordinates A(0.0534, 0, -0.005) and B (0.0534, 0.067, -0.005) at time 0.5 sec.

I am wondering how can I do it. May be cloudFunctions defined in kinematicCloudProperties is an option but I really don't know what function should I call there.

Hoping to get some help from you guys

Best Regards
Atul
