How to convert .csv datapoints to volume?

Dear All,

I have a csv file which contains (x, y, z) co-ordinates along with temparature 'T' parameters.

1. I need this data to be converted to volume/mesh in OpenFoam.
2. Or, I need this data to be visualized in paraview. I imported csv file in paraview and used "TableToPoints" to visualize the points.
3. I tried Delaunay 2D and 3D for triangulation. But this filter did not match well.

So, is there any way I could use csv file in OpenFoam to create a mesh from the points presented in csv file?

Thanks and Regards,
Sunag R A.

Hi sunagra,

I have the same problem and I would be thankful if you help me.
I am doing some experimental research and I have the velocity vector in a domain in a csv file. I would like ti read this file in the paraview in order to postprocess it. As far as I know, after importing the file, I need to use "table to point" filter. I did it successfully. Now, I would like to plot velocity over a line, but it does not work. I think there are some missing seteps in between in order to be able to post process further. I would be thankful if you share your opinion with me.

Best regards
