wallHeatFlux

Hey guys, im graduating student, its been a mouth since I started playing in openfoam enviroment.

My doubt is about the wallHeatFlux postprocess function, i used the comand:

chtMultiRegionFoam -postProcess -func wallHeatFlux -region tube

and worked, i think that is right but i dont undestand what is min/max/integ and why in the paraview the field show other values.

wallHeatFlux wallHeatFlux write:
writing object wallHeatFlux
min/max/integ(walls) = 0, 0, 0
min/max/integ(tube_to_solid) = 39227.7, 404576, 10535.1

In paraview the max Value on the scale is 3,9e5, why not 40e5.

is integ an averaged value? why is it so smaller than min and max?

"integ" is the heat flux integrated over the surface (unit is W). You need to divide it by the area to get the average heat flux.

Do you display cell values in ParaView? (I guess 40e5 is just a typo and you mean the difference between 3.9e5 and 4.0e5?)
