Xavier_95 is on a distinguished road
Hi! I am performing a study involving SA-DDES simulations. I am interested in the visualization of the zones of the domain which are resolved by RANS and LES. In order to do that, in my controlDict i have implemented the code of the DESModelRegion. In the OpenFOAM website, the descritpion of this function reports that 1 indicates LES while 0 indicate RAS. The output file generated contains the percentages in volume shared by RAS and LES. It starts from LES at the beginning of the simulation and ends with almost all RAS. Now, on paraVIew, visualizing the last timeStep, I would expect to see all RANS but on the contrary I see a full scale of color, from fully RANS to fully LES and intermediate zones and I don't understand why. I don't have very clear how this code resolve the domain. If someone can explain it to me, I would really appreciate that. Thanks
