Hei together,
I was wondering if anyone has a good solution to follow the reaction paths in a reactingFoam simulation. I have a burner simulations that is running well and which gives very interesting results in terms of it's emissions. However, based on CFD it is complicated to conclude why the emissions are how the are, or which reactions are responsible for which products to occurr. I'm aware of reactor networks in Cantera, but they are quite complex for large burners and one has to do quite some simplifications etc. Nonetheless they are a neat way to exactly investigate these reaction paths (see example). I was wondering if anyone is aware of something similar in OpenFoam? Is it possible to track the reactions and plot them in a structured way? Any ideas are welcome. |
