Conversion of Data file to FLUENT
Hi,
I am new to OpenFoam, actually today is my first day. Howwever, I have been using FLUENT for almost 10 years now and know the software very well. It would be a huge plus for me if the OpenFoam data can be exported to FLUENT for post-processing. I tried using the command "foamDataToFluent", but the conversion did not take place. Is there any other way to do the conversion ? By the way, I tried to use Paraview initially. It looks too complicated to even for simple post-processing. Regards, Sanjib |
I have the same situation as you. I know very well Fluent, but OpenFOAM since a couple of months.
foamDataToFluent works. You have to type foamDataToFluent fluent.msh |

Hi,
what can you get from Fluent with "CFD General Notation System" (CGNS)? http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...available.html If you can export the Fluent results to CGNS?! |
