Hi Foamers,
I have a channel calculated with k-epsilon. I used a compressible solver. But when I try to calculate Y+, I get the following message for each timestep: Time = 1.9989 Reading field U Reading/calculating face flux field phi Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian Selecting RAS turbulence model kEpsilon kEpsilonCoeffs { Cmu 0.09; C1 1.44; C2 1.92; C3 -0.33; alphah 1; alphak 1; alphaEps 0.76923; } Patch 2 named outerWall y+ : min: 782.702 max: 15960.3 average: 4438.24 So, the tool is "talking" about an incompressible transportModel. The values of y+ are quite strange and i canīt trust them, of course. The result of the simualtion is quite good. For better understanding hereīs the important of my transportModelDict: transportModel Newtonian; nu nu [0 2 -1 0 0 0 0] 1e-05; rho rho [1 -3 0 0 0 0 0] 1; rho0 rho0 [1 -3 0 0 0 0 0] 1; psi psi [0 -2 2 0 0 0 0] 1e-5; Can anybody help me, to get comprehensible values for y+? Thanks ff23 |
