StreamFunction utility -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

titio Senior Member Antonio Martins Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Porto, Porto, Portugal Posts: 112 Rep Power: 17	Hi foamers, I am trying to calculate the streamfunction for a 2D steady state simulation, in order to calculate the values of the flowrate in particular planes of calculation. I am using OpenFoam 1.5-dev, and the utility streamFuction. It works fine, but when I use the foamToTecplot utility, it does take into account the values of the streamfunction. Thus, how I can force the foamToTecplot utility to use the values calculated by the streamFunction utility. On the other hand, how it is possible to calculate directly in OpenFoam the values of the stream function? Regards, Antonio Martins
