probes for a component of a volTensorField
 

Hi foamers,

I am trying to use probes to obtain the values of a single component of a volTensorField. I tried to use

stressP.components(tensor:XX) but no data is saved.

I am having the same problem with volVectorField (a velocity field) to extract just the components I want.

A potential solution is to scalar fields that may sampled. However, is there or no a direct way of doing this with probes?
