Mapping results from plane or cyclic BC

Hi,
I did a simulation of an atmospheric boundary layer. My inlet and outlet are cyclic, so considered as a single patch. Now I would like to take the results of the inlet (or outlet) and map them to another case having exactly the same mesh. The problem is that my cyclic BC called "inout" contains both the values at the inlet and outlet planes. Is there a smart way of taking the results of only the inlet or only the outlet and map them onto the inlet of another simulation ? I looked for a function to "un-couple" a cyclic patch, without success... I also looked for sampling a plane and mapping the results, but that also looks complicated .. Does anybody have an idea ? |
