Error after typing blockMesh
 
Hello

Typing "blockMesh" the "blockMeshDict" folder of both the tutorial "cavity" and "pitzDayly" gives me these errors in spite of having controlDict in the system folder:


file: /home/omid/OpenFOAM/omid-2.1.1/run/tutorials/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity/constant/polyMesh/system/controlDict at line 0.

From function regIOobject::readStream()
in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73.

FOAM exiting

I would appreciate if anyone has an idea or suggestion regarding the mentioned error.

Hi omid88,

Code:
icoFoam/cavity/constant/polyMesh/system/controlDict
You're meant to run the command from within the case's root folder, not from within the "polyMesh" folder ;)
