HI Everybody,

I have a big domain with a lot of patches. I give the boundary values for Inlet and outlet for all variables in the "0" time directory. Now I am looking for a possibility to assign the remaining patches automatically as wall. Is there a possibility? This would save me a lot of typing.

Thanks Camoesas

The User Guide fails to mention it (at least I didn't find it), but you can have regular expressions as dictionary keys: You just have to enclose the expression in ". So "wall_.*" would fit wall_01, wall_13, ....

I think that would solve your problem. Have a look at the tutorials. I THINK the motorCycle-case uses it
