SRConsult is on a distinguished road
Greetings. I'm a new OpenFOAM user and am seeking to better understand what appears to be redundant and overly complex setup issues. I have two questions with which to start:

(1) Referring to the multiRegionHeater tutorial, why is the setup of the regions specified in makeCellsSets.setSet and also in ./system/topoSetDict?

(2) The file ./constant/polyMesh/boundary seems exceedingly difficult to generate by hand. It appears that one must know the numbering system of the structured mesh block generator in order to define startFace. Is that a correct observation or am I missing something?

I have more questions, but I'm guessing the answers to these might point me along the right path. Thanks very much for your help. I hope to return the favor in this forum once I know more.
