Air passes through the blue-colored wall in the below channel, but not the water (attached). Could you give some tips on how to solve this problem using a two-phase solver or VOF available in OpenFOAM. Thanks in advance for your great help.

This is a bit of a guess, but I think you should be able to set the velocity boundary condition as something like this:
Code:
v=alpha1*constant
which will make sure that you have a constant outflow for alpha1=1 and 0 outflow for alpha1=0
