Dear all

I need to investigate the flow around a bluff body equipped with a rear diffuser (I have attached some drawings). I have to simulate the steady state using RANS. The body is placed in a virtual wind tunnel 47 meters long (roughly 10 times the length of the body ahead and 15 times behind) and I have used a symmetric plane. Furthermore the ground moves at the same velocity of the free stream. I need to analyse the flow that develops inside the diffuser (where a strong adverse pressure gradient occurs). I am using a full structured mesh with a 15 million size.

I have noticed that OpenFOAM has several fv solvers and turbulence models. Basing on your experience I would like to know:

-what is the best fv solvers for this kind of problems?
-what is the best turbulence model that I suppose to use?

thank you in advance for your help

yours sincerely
