Default Creation of new patches (using topoSet and createPatch)

Dear foamers,

I'm having some troubles in creating new patches.
Their geometry is quite simple, as you can see from the pictures.

I have the patches inlet and outlet. From these, I want to separate the part on wich apply my boundary condition. (the pink, selected zone in the pictures)
I selected these zones in paraview, identifing the cell ID, and then I create a topoSetDict. But I'm doing something wrong, because it doesn't work.
I'd like to understand at least if my procedure is right or not. And in case, any suggestion would be well accepted!
