Liquid plug using interFoam
Hey all,

I am trying to simulate transitions between a liquid plug and a droplet using interFoam. My geometry is just a cylindrical capillary with a liquid plug set by the setFields utility. There are two ways to observe the transition. One is by varying the contact angle which I believe can be done by using the timeVaryingAlphaContactAngle but I am yet to figure out how to do it. The other way is by removing fluid from the plug forcing it to become a droplet which is much more physical than changing the contact angle. But I am not able to figure out how to remove fluid from the liquid plug region.

Any help would be appreciated. I am pretty new to OF to I don't really know much

Many thanks

I am still stuck at the same point and I am unable to figure out how to remove the liquid. I have attached an image with the capillary and the liquid plug and I want to remove fluid from the liquid plug region to view its collapse.
