Hello everybody,
I've done simulations of reactor (figure. bellow) using interDyMFoam. In these simulations I inserted the 11 air injectors (injector area 4mm^2) direct in the blockMeshDict.

So searching I found the following material perforatedPlateBoudary. I tested the first alternative of the tutorial, but didn't work. I'm checking if is some version problem (I'm working with OF2.0.1).

Is there any easier way to insert the air injectors?

Another problem is with the size of the injectors, for small sizes (< 3mm^2) the simulation does not converge.

Any suggestion is strongly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello Jonas Ansoni

Have you solved your problem for perforated boundary condition ??
I am simulating fluidized bed and I want apply perforated base too. If you are succeeded, please share your experience. Thank you.

Hi!
Sorry for the delay.
I used square holes as injectors for very small holes.
Regarding the tutorial (perforatedPlateBoundary) I didn't get success.
kind regards
