fantaste is on a distinguished road
Hi All,
I'm using for the first time Pointwise and openFoam in a icoFoam case with cyclic BC for my thesis.
I have imported my mesh from pointwise, modified the p, U and boundary files and created the createPatchDict file.
Now, when i make the checkMesh I have this error:

***High aspect ratio cells found, Max aspect ratio: 3043.51, number of cells 1
<<Writing 1 cells with high aspect ratio to set highAspectRatioCells
.....
**Error in coupled point location: 1984 faces have their 0th or consecutive vertex not opposite their coupled equivalent. Average mismatch 3.125e-06.
<<Writing 1984 faces with incorrectly matched 0th (or consecutive) vertex to set coupledFaces

Failed 2 mesh checks.

End

and if I give the comand createPatch I have another fatal error:

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
"ill defined primitiveEntry starting at keyword 'patches' on line 22 and ending at line 50"
From function primitiveEntry::readEntry(const dictionary&, Istream&)
in file lnInclude/IOerror.C at line 132.

In my actual knowledge the errors is totally obscure for me and don't know what to do to proceed in the study...

Any idea about how to solve these problems?
Thank anyone who wants to help me in advance,
Stefano
