Hi everyone,
I'm new with OpenFoam and I'm interessed in turbomachinery calculations, especially runner channels in steady state computations. That's why I try to use the mixing plane functionality I already used in CFX 14.5. I heard about a new version of the mixing plane functionality : http://iopscience.iop.org/1755-1315/22/2/022004 , called "RC3" by its creators. It seems it introduces new schemes for velocity and pressure : fluxAveragingAdjustMassFlow and zeroGradientMatchAverageValue. Does anybody know if this functionality can already available in the latest OF-ext 3.1 version? Because these new schemes are not recognized by the MRFSimpleFoam solver I use... At least, does anybody have information about this RC3 mixing plane? Thanks, sobou |

Hi,
Sorry for the double-post. I had an answer by email from Mr Beaudoin. The RC3 version of the mixing plane comes from a modified version of OF-ext3.0, which has not been released yet. They are still working on these new schemes of interface. Thus, I have all I need, so this post was just to pass the information. Thanks, sobou |
