interFOAM, how to define body force and force on interface

Hi All,

I'm trying to solve a very simple two phase flow problem, but I'm confused where to set the body force (as a function of space) and force on the interface (also a function of space, different from interface tension).

Let assume the geometry is a cube centered at (0,0,0). The flat interface is at (z=0). If I want to define a body force in the phase below the interface, or simply a point force, can anyone tell me where and how to define this?

Also, if I want to define a force exerted on the interface (independent of interface tension), should I define a delta-function? If so, where should I define this?

Thank you for your comments!!

Any comments please?

Hi,

I am also trying to add body forces on a cylinder in interfoam. Have you obtained the solution that you are looking for?

Thanks
