mapField: only map velocity

Dear Foamers,

does anybody of you have an idea how to map ONLY the velocity field to my target case? All other fields shoudl not be mapped. I looked through mapFields -help, but found no option that could help. Maybe someone have ever tried this?

Hi K.C.

In the description of mapFields.C you can see that:

Description
Maps volume fields from one mesh to another, reading and
interpolating all fields present in the time directory of both cases.
Parallel and non-parallel cases are handled without the need to reconstruct
them first.

My guess is that if you just want to map the velocity field, just delete the other fields from your target time folder, keeping just the U file. I haven't tested it, it is just a guess.
