Directed boundary condition

Hello, :)

I am a beginner on OpenFoam and I use the 2.1.1 version. I have to modelize a Wind tunnel with an open inlet.
My problems are the following:

- I do not understand the pressureDirectedInletVelocity BC and I did not succeed to make it work, it diverged with time...

- I need some pressure directed at the inlet and may be also some velocity but I need to modelize a fan at the outlet so it will add pressure and velocity at the outlet.... but to have velocity at the inlet AND the outlet the configuration will be instable. As some tutorials preconize to have velocity only at the inlet I do not know what to do because, in my case, I need at least to have pressure directed at the inlet and velocity at the outlet...

So if you know how to make a directed pressure condition (I did not find any condition fitting this description), how the pressureDirectedInletVelocity BC works, and/or how to have conditions that could fit to my case, you are welcome :)

Thank you very much for reading and thank you in advance for replying!

ps: sorry for my bad English

Elisa

The documentation given at the header of the .h file is not enough?

Also there are already several messages on cfd-online:

hello Joachim, thank you for your answer.
Actually, I don't really understand the .h file and the fact is I cannot make the condition work... I don't even know if this is really the condition I need, I just try everything I can to modelize as well as I can my Wind tunnel :(

Thank you for the link, I have searched but didn't find anything that could actually help me in my case...

ps: actually, I just began to use openFoam for my job but I never had use openFoam nor C++ code language before, I admit I am quite lost
