Hi,

I am working on a rotating mesh simulation that has a rotor mesh and a stator mesh. Using these two meshes, I generated a combined mesh using mergeMeshes command in openfoam. Everything worked without errors and I can view the merged mesh in paraview. However when I attempt to decompose the case for a parallel run, I get the following error messege:

FOAM aborting

Any idea what's wrong and how to correct this?

Hi kcn,

Hope all is well. I am currently trying to use mergeMeshes for a different case but I am running into the same error that you faced. Were you able to resolve the problem?
