Flow Around the Propeller

Dears,

I'm simulating the open water test of one particular propeller in openfoam and my results are not that good when compared with the experimental thrust and torque for this specicic advanced coefficient (J).

To model that I have a big cylinder that represents the domain of my study and one small cylinder where the propeller works. I've seen some papers that set that big domain as a "SLIP" boundary and other referecence that set it as a "Symmetry" boundary condition.

Could you share your experience if you know about that?

Note: If you have tutorial about flow around propeller or flow around ship, could you share it with me?

Best Regards,
Rodrigo Corrêa

Dears,

I found my mistake.
It was not about boundary condition.
Anyway,

Thank you!
