Hi Guys,
I am investigating a flow geometry including heat transfer using a simplified geometry. I do that to make the calculation faster as well as it is easier to pint out the issues in a simple geometry.
My concern is as the dimensions change when a build a smaller and simpler model, which parameters should I keep constant?
I am guessing average Reynolds number, inlet temperatures etc. I also found something about "Yplus" parameter. But Openfoam provides min, max and average value every patch if I use the command
yPlusRAS.
Which value should I compare, maximum OR average.
Also please let me know any other parameter which I should keep the same.
Thanks
Vineet
