How to model mixing of any two non-reacting gases?
I guess in fluent we can use species transport. Do we have a solver for it? |

Thanks for the reply Tom.
But are you sure that it will work?? because i tried switching off reaction and combustion of reactingFoam, but still results were'nt good enough. I doubt whether we will have to implement some new mixing model in the reactingFoam.. |

Hi,
Well I do not know what is "good enough" for your case. Without reactions you only get species transport, besides the flow, pressure and temperature fields. That is just the equations that are implemented. There is probably some model behind this, which may be different from Fluent's model. You would have to investigate I think. Regards, Tom |
