Calculation of an airfoil -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Mahe88 New Member Join Date: Oct 2016 Posts: 22 Rep Power: 9	Hey all, I am working on my Masterthesis right now, for which I need OpenFoam. To start with OF I want to calculate 2D Airfoils with SimpleFoam and kOmegaSST turbulencemodell. I started with working through the OF Tutorials but I am still struggling with setting up a first simulation using the kOmegaSST model. Could somebody give me a hint, how to get into turbulence modells? Seems to me, that this isn't a very easy task. Or is it possible to say which parameter are essential and which starting values I could use for a beginning? Thanks a lot in advance! Mahe
