Difference between dynamicMeshDict - dynamicMeshDict.sixDoF
Hello everyone,
Now a days I am working on a "Floating Object" exercise and I found my self in trouble to understand the difference between dynamicMeshDict - dynamicMeshDict.sixDoF. My C+ knowledge is quite limited so I prefer not to get deep on the scripts. At first, in the easy way I tried to run the tutorial exercise using first the dynamicMeshDict as it comes per default and then deleting it, and using the "dynamicMeshDict.sixDoF" file with the new name "dynamicMeshDict". But when I run it, I get the next message in the "log.interDyMFoam" file: --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: keyword centreOfMass is undefined in dictionary "/home/batllemm/OpenFOAM/batllemm-4.1/run/6DOF/floatingObject.3D.1/constant/dynamicMeshDict.sixDoFRigidBodyMotionCoeffs" file: /home/batllemm/OpenFOAM/batllemm-4.1/run/6DOF/floatingObject.3D.1/constant/dynamicMeshDict.sixDoFRigidBodyMotionCoeffs from line 25 to line 95. From function const Foam::entry& Foam::dictionary::lookupEntry(const Foam::word&, bool, bool) const in file db/dictionary/dictionary.C at line 441. FOAM exiting Thank you for your help, and good luck Marc |
