Hi Foamers, I have to reproduce some experiments made in a wind tunnel to extend the result to other cases configurations, but I have to make some desition that I don know how to start. for example

- Is simpleFoam suficient for this?
- do I have to use, a turbulence model? wich?

The attachment is a picture of the model in the tunnel, I have the tunnel dimensions, the STL file for the geometry, the parameters of the wind in the inlet U = 15 m/s air parameters nu 1.51e-05 and rho 1.202

I want to use the drag force and drag coefficient to calibrate. Unil now I use the simpleFoam with this inlet parameters in a laminar flow, bot the Cd it's
is very far from the tunnel results.
