Hi,
I haven't done a URANS simulation before and i need some help please.
I am looking at running rhoPimpleFoam.
I have previously ran a rhoSimpleFoam simulation and understood that the setup for rhoPimple foam would be very similar with the exception that my system directory would be different.
I am planning on copying openfoam5/tutorials/compressible/rhoPimpleFoam/RAS/cavity/system .
Is there anything that you think i need to modify apart from the deltaT in my control dict?
How do i chose an appropriate deltaT? I understood that it related to cellsize and courant number...but how do i find out my cell size?

Are there any good videos on rhoPimpleFoam?

Hi Tom

I just started working with rhoPimpleFoam and would like to share my limited knowledge.

When I select a deltaT, i just make a guestimate and iterate to make sure the Courant number is less than 1 (eventhough the pimple algorithm should be able to handle Co > 1). The correct way to get deltaT is to use:

$Co = \frac{u\Delta T}{\Delta x}$

for more dimension

maybe you can see the see a magnitude of the size of your grid in constant/polyMesh/points.
