Hi everybody,

I modeled an open channel with smooth bed using interFOAM. But, in surface of water-air, wave is made (unfortunately, the fluctuation in the water-air surface is high and I can’t ignore it).
Model and the specifications of model are summarized as below:

long 10m; Height=Width=0.61m (channel)
mean velocity = 0.49 m/s ; flow depth = 0.1m ; size mesh; 8*8*8mm,
Reynolds number=51083, Fr^2 =0.24 ,

What is it the reason of this wave?
I will be appreciated if you help me to know about this problem.

Thank you for your valuable time.
