Helyx-OS Meshing problem
 

Dear all,

I am using Helyx-OS GUI for meshing a watertight body for analysing internal flow domain. The position of the Material point is perfectly inside the flow domain.

Case 1:

Cells for each direction in bounding box - x=180, y= 180, z = 950
In mesh log, no. of cells selected for keeping = 2 million

This is expected and corrrect. It is selecting the internal flow domain and meshing it. :cool:

Case 2: I increased the no. of cells in each direction.

Cells for each direction - x=200, y= 200, z = 1050
In mesh log, no. of cells selected for keeping = 20 million

In this case, no. cells expected to be kept for meshing are around 3-4 million.

But, it is meshing the flow domain AS WELL AS whole bounding box. :confused:

Any ideas why this is happening?? I hope the information provided is sufficient; owing to confidential reasons, I can't share the project.
