fluent3DMeshToFoam creates additional boundaries i didnt specify.

Hello there!

I'm currently working on simulating a hydrofoil with OpenFOAM. I'm creating a mesh using Ansys workbench and convert it using fluent3DMeshToFoam.

A couple of things confuse me however. When i run the conversion the boundary file contains several conditions i never set. They are named Wall-Volumen-krper for example. In my meshing i only specified the sides of the domain and "part1" however.

I got most of the file structure from the student doing the work mine is based on. Does fluent3dmeshtofoam draw on any files for input other than the mesh file? Maybe i could look those up and see if they're responsible for the additional boundary conditions.

An extra question if any of you have also worked with Ansys meshing for openfoam: When simulating something like a wing my instructions state to remove the wing from the domain by use of a boolean substraction. However it does not state wether to keep the tool body and wether to use the surface of the wing or the internal surfaces of the domain (created by the boolean operation) to define the boundary condition of the part. Anyone got any insight on that?

And help would be greatly appreciated!
