decomposePar and mapFields not working as expected

Hi,

I'm going for a low res case to a higher res case, interpolating data from the low res to the high res using mapFields.

I use:

mpirun -n 1 mapFields ../source_dir/ -consistent -sourceTime 0.0004000007

Things seems to work fine and I got the directory 0.0004000007 filled with updated variables in binary format. Previous, they were fill with variables from time = 0.

Then I use decomposePar to decompose the data.

Things ended successfully but when I check the variables inside the processor* dir, I realised that they were filled with ith variables from time = 0, not the binary data which I should be getting.

May I know why this is so? Did I make an error somewhere?

What if you try with "decomposePar -latestTime" ?

Thanks for the reply. I also tried this but strangely, it didn't work.

I tried for a smaller case and it work nicely. I wonder why.
