TomS is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I'm trying to take the surface mesh and scalar field S shown in the 3D image at the "top" patch and copy it to a new patch/mesh.

Then I wish to extrude this 2D mesh and scalar field into a new 2D study with the values of the field S at cell centres.

I've tried various connotations of mapFields and extrudeMesh without success and would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I'm using OF v5.0.

Thanks!

Tom
