k and omega initial value in 0 directory

Hi guys. I need some help.

Currently I am running a simulation on a UAV MALE and using simpleFoam as the solver. The Reynolds Number is about 2e+06.

I am a bit confused about how I set the initial value of the k and Omega in the 0 directory. When I read the previous forum someone said that the initial value of k and Omega is independent from the solution or the initial value of k and omega does not affect the results. But when I set a different initial value of k and Omega I keep getting different values of Cl and Cd.

I have already tried to compute from this page https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Turb...ary_conditions
But I do not know the turbulence intensity of my flow because the value of root-mean-square of the turbulent velocity fluctuations (u') and k.

I also attach my 0 directory.

I really appreciate all the help from you guys. Thank you very much..

use this tool to find your initial values for turbulence properties.

in my case, my simulation results are not sensitive to initial values of turbulence properties. but thats not a generalisation of course.
you need to test your case.
