Hi,
I've been searching the internet for a specific inlet BC but I couldn't find anything for now (maybe it exists but I simply cant find it). First of all I will try to explain what I plan to achieve. I have a radial fan case which has an outlet patch with resulting Ux, Uy, Uz and Umag of course. I would like to export these values in .csv format but also include the direction of the vector because basically when you have a radial fan the vectors are in the direction of rotation. When I run my case (a chamber supplied by 4 radial fans simultaneously) I would like to Initialize the Profile Data (velocity vectors with direction and magnitude) exported from the radial fan case as an inlet patch BC. That way I can correctly simulate the airflow velocity and direction inside the chamber and the turbulence caused by the mixing of the four radial fans. Is this possible in OpenFOAM? 1. Exporting outlet patch Profile Data in .csv format. 2. Initializing Profile Data as a BC in another case at the inlet patch. (the outlet of the first case and inlet of the second case is the same surface) |
