I am trying to visualize some cells with high aspect ratio. The checkMesh criterion for aspect ration is 1000. So I either have to control this criterion and let checkMesh writes out the cells. Or I have to let Paraview calculate it for me. I tried Cell Size filter in Paraview but it does not calculate the area of the internal mesh cells, only the defined patches cells.
Any solution to this banal problem is appreciated! |

Just found out that Tobias Holzmann has an extention of checkMesh utility which outputs aspect ratio field. Compiling and implementing the utility served the purpose.
check the utility here: https://holzmann-cfd.com/en/openfoam...ions/checkmesh |
