Air intake inlet in dispalcemente ventilation

Hello,
As a part of a HVAC CFD simulation (displacement ventilation) , I’m modelling an air diffuser like this (inlet patch):

It’s clear that the front surface doesn’t work fully as air intake. On overage the free surface is up to 50% of the overall front surface. Therefore For this simulation, is crucial to model the actual dimension of the intakes.

In your opinions, how to model this inlet? Which boundary condition to use? How to model the intake, keep in mind, that just a part of the surface works as inlet?

Thank you
Arien
