Hey everybody,
for a change, I do have a question to the community Before I start creating my own piece of code, I have a question regarding the following situation. Simulation #1 In my first numerical analysis, I re-created the ASUS Turbo GTX1070Ti graphic card and investigated a bit into this topic. I used a transient method as the fan was ramped up linearly. This investigation was performed with the whole cad geometry. Simulation #2 Now I want to remove the intake part (fan and others) to make a more sophisticated analysis of the cooling area (fines etc). For that purpose, I don't want to keep the first part and want to take the field data of U, k, omega, p and T from the slice (provided in the figure) and map/interpolate it onto the »reduced geometry« (everything downstream of the slice of the figure) as boundary condition onto the patch. The question Does FOAM already provide such a condition? In former times I thought the "tabulated..." boundary condition was suited for such things. But out of the box, I could not find any condition or I just over-read it. Any hint is kindly appreciated.
