Hi Foamer,
I am a user-foamer. I have applied interFoam solver to my case simulation for laminar flow. As I know interFoam that is a solver for incompressible and transient flow. I have finished this simulation but when I implement post-processing I can not show the instantaneous field. maybe I am not yet setting an inflow boundary condition. Do you know How to generate fluctuation in the flow field? There are many methods to generate fluctuation like random velocity, Precursor simulation, recycling method, or synthetic turbulence but I am using periodic boundary condition so I think Precursor simulation that is appreciated to generate that.
Could anyone be used to Precursor simulation or another method to generate a fluctuation field?
sincerely thank you for any advice!
