How to select a mesh generated from an .stl file?

Hello FOAMers!

I'm trying to change the physical properties of a wall into that of cement, but I'm not exactly sure how.

I'm reading a wall in the form of an .STL file using surfaceFeatures, building the mesh with blockMesh, and then trimming it to the proper shape using snappyHexMesh.

I want to change the physical properties of the wall read from the .STL file, probably using setFields, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I guess I could use something like box to cell, but I was looking to be able to do it without manually figuring out the dimensions of the wall from the STL file.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
