Hello everyone,

I have created a mesh which has about 6 volumes, each having various inlet and wall patches. There are interfaces created due to mesh generation which were defined under defaultFace, and were assigned a boundary type of Empty.

Now, I am working with 3D and I cannot define defaultFaces as "empty". Is there a "interface" or similar boundary condition? I am not sure, but can I use the "stitchMesh" utility?

If the internal faces joining the 6 volumes exactly overlap each other then there is no need for extra definition when using blockMesh. It automatically understands that those are internal faces. So there is no need to define them explicitly as boundaries of a certain type. I am assuming that the 6 volumes join together to form a single fluid domain.
