I'm solving a flow in a conical diffuser geometry. What kind of BC I must impose to the axe of symmetry to solve this problem? Is the "empty" BC the right choice?
Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alexandro,
I'm not sure I will give you the solution but, the best way according to me is to avoid the problem.
Meshing your geometry otherwise. I plan to mesh the Clausen 1993 conical diffuser and a buterfly mesh seems to be the easyer way (if you have mesh generator).
I saw that with OF someone put a script to mesh a cylinder, try to start from it ...
Hope it helps

Cedric

Thanks Cedric, I'll try a 3D model instead of 2D with axialsymmetric BC.
